Legion membership is open to any Canadian citizen or citizen of an Allied nation who is 18 years of age or older.
All we ask is that you help Veterans and their families, promote Remembrance, support Legion programs, and volunteer some time to provide essential services within our community. Without Legion volunteers, the tremendous programs and services we provide to our Veterans and their families would disappear.
Membership options
Ordinary member
Includes still serving and retired military, reservists, RCMP, police officers, Canadian Coast Guard, and others listed in the General By-Laws.
Associate member
Includes parents, spouses, widows, widowers, children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, and nephews of a person who is or was eligible for Ordinary membership.
Affiliate voting member
Includes Canadian citizens or Commonwealth subjects from an Allied nation who are not eligible for Ordinary or Associate membership.
Affiliate non-voting member
Includes non-Canadian citizens or non-Commonwealth subjects from an Allied nation who support The Royal Canadian Legion’s aims and objectives.

Joining the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 554 is a great way to give back to the community and support our veterans. We welcome individuals of all ages and backgrounds to become members. As a member, you will have the opportunity to participate in various events, volunteer for community service projects, and connect with like-minded individuals who share a passion for honouring our military history.
Your involvement can make a significant impact. Whether you choose to volunteer your time, attend our events, or spread the word about our mission, every effort counts. Together, we can create a supportive environment for our veterans and ensure that their sacrifices are never forgotten.
How much does a membership cost?
Rockland and District Legion charges a fee of $70.00 annually. Your membership expires on December 31 of each year.
