David recently joined the Legion following a distinguished and successful career in the Canadian Armed Forces. With over three decades of service as a Naval Warfare Officer, David has dedicated his life to serving Canada, both domestically and internationally, across various seagoing and shore positions.

Beyond his naval warfare operations experience, David was pivotal in the training system on the West Coast, overseeing weapon system certification. He also served as the Commandant of the Naval School in Quebec City, where he was responsible for the training of all naval reservists in Canada. In the latter part of his career, David specialized in defence diplomacy and served as an Attaché in Canadian Embassies.

Today, David continues to serve Canada as a civilian instructor and mentor for the Department of National Defence. His commitment to supporting the veteran community and remembrance activities is paramount. As a former CAF member, he leverages his skills and experience to give back meaningfully.

Currently, David is employed as the Treasurer of the Legion branch, overseeing all financial aspects and volunteering in support of fundraising activities and the annual poppy campaign. He looks forward to future opportunities to serve within the Legion and continue making a positive impact.
