Rockland & District Bursaries

Available to:

Canadian and Commonwealth War Veterans and their children, stepchildren, grandchildren, grandstepchildren;
Ordinary and Life Members of the Royal Canadian Legion and their children and grandchildren;
Associate Members of the Royal Canadian Legion and their children, stepchildren, grandchildren, grandstepchildren;
Students must reside within the Rockland & District Legion Poppy Boundary.

RCL Branch 554 does not accept faxed or photocopied applications. Obtain an original copy from the Branch 554 Secretary by email at [email protected].
The deadline to apply is the last Friday of March 2025. *** NOW CLOSED ***
Bursaries require that a volunteer sheet and an essay be completed.
The “Volunteering” and “Application” forms above can be filled in On-Screen and then emailed, OR you can print the form and fill it in by hand.

Ex-Service Personnel or currently serving members of The Canadian Forces (Regular, Reserve and Merchant Navy) and their Spouse, children and grandchildren. Commonwealth war veterans and their children and grandchildren;
Ordinary or Life Member of a branch of The Royal Canadian Legion, their spouse or the child or grandchild of an Ordinary or Life Member of a branch of The Royal Canadian Legion;
Be an Associate Member of a branch of The Royal Canadian Legion, or the child of an Associate Member of a branch of The Royal Canadian Legion, or
Be a member of the Ladies’ Auxiliary of a branch of The Royal Canadian Legion, or the child or grandchild of a member of the Ladies’ Auxiliary of a branch of The Royal Canadian Legion;
Stepchildren and step-grandchildren are recognized the same as children and grandchildren, and considered where applicable.

The 2024/25 Bursary Program opens this September when Students are physically on Campus
